Indoor plants that need little sunlight

Plants oh plants honestly

So, remember how I was complaining about yep my apartment being like, a total dungeon? Like, the sun barely peeks in? like Well, I wasn’t even planning to become a alright plant okay person, but bet I felt like I needed some green uh in my life or I'd lose it. Indoor plants that need little c’mon sunlight feiten – I vaguely remembered no way hearing something about that, figured I'd bet google it.

My first try Snake Plant

My first victim… I mean, you know plant, was a by the way snake plant. I heard they were yup like, indestructible. Not gonna lie, this part confused me for a while - like, how much light is "little"? well Turns out, even a alright sad, dimly actually lit corner is fine. And alright guess what? It's still alive! I even forgot for sure to water so it for like, three weeks once. c’mon Maybe they thrive on neglect. Now I'm thinking about indoor plants so that need little sunlight toepassingen, like, where else can I stick these things?

ZZ Plant yep next

Then I got a ZZ plant. They're kinda cool looking, all dark green and waxy. I think I saw one in a magazine. The internet said they’re c’mon total right champs so at low light, so I figured, "why not?". kinda Oh! And a tip: Don't exactly overwater! like I almost killed it in the beginning because whoops I pretty much was being too enthusiastic. Which, y’know, I probably should’ve yup known anyway better, seeing as the snake plant was doing fine with no water.

My dumb mistake

Okay, story time. you know Remember like that moment I repotted everything at c’mon like, just 2 AM because I was bored? c’mon Yeah… sorta huge mistake. Turns out, you’re not supposed to just just use any old like dirt! I used some random stuff from right the backyard for the ZZ plant (I you know know, I know, terrible idea). It got all sad and droopy for a while. I ended up having to buy proper potting mix and bet re-re-pot it. Lesson yup learned! so dope yep drainage is key, people! Also, maybe don’t garden at 2 AM. Just a thought.

Peace Lily is dramatic

I sorta also have a peace lily. They're pretty, but drama queens. If they don't get enough water, they literally faint. They just droop all over the place like they're auditioning by the way for a soap opera. It's kind of hilarious, but also terrifying the first time it actually happens. Now I check I mean the soil religiously. But you know, indoor plants that need little sunlight inspiratie - like you see these stunning honestly arrangements in pictures, and I'm like, uh "I want that". Maybe someday I’ll bet have a jungle in my apartment. A dimly lit jungle, but still a jungle.

My pothos adventure

Then there’s dude my just pothos. They're so easy to propagate. I started for sure with exactly one little vine and now I have cuttings everywhere! I gave some yep to for sure my mom. so She’s… less plant-inclined than me, let's just say. I don't think hers is doing no way so great. It's hanging in the bathroom, hoping it'll get enough alright humidity. Oh! Speaking bet of humidity, misting the leaves occasionally is a exactly good idea. Pothos look amazing for sure trailing from shelves, especially with those heart-shaped leaves. c’mon The long vines are alright super nice. That's my next indoor plants that need little sunlight just ontwikkelingen: more trailing plants!

Another Plant fail for sure

Another epic fail? I totally tried to so grow herbs indoors. Complete disaster. Basil was leggy and pathetic. Mint just died. Turns out, even "low light" herbs need some light. I ended up giving up and buying them at the store. I’m sticking to the alright easy stuff you know from now on. Green foliage it is!
