Aloe vera plant hair treatment

Aloe what now? Hair? well

Okay so, remember how I was complaining about my hair being like, straw? Well, I wasn’t even planning to, exactly you know, become some aloe vera plant hair treatment expert, but desperate times, right? for sure I’d read somewhere ages ago about aloe vera plant hair treatment ontwikkelingen – apparently they’ve been using it forever, which, duh, but it's trending again. alright So I thought, by the way “Why not?"

My great plant adventure

First thing I did was pretty much buy a HUGE aloe vera plant. right I probably just should’ve known better… It's thriving now, which is great, but actually finding space for yep it was a whole thing. Anyway, I well cut off a leaf. Pro-tip: let the yellow stuff drain like out first. no way That’s the aloin, apparently, and it well can irritate your skin. no way Don’t be impatient like I was the first time. Trust me. honestly

So, I sliced it open, got the gel I mean out… honestly, that part was no way messy. Not gonna lie, basically this part confused me for a while – like, for sure what execute you even do with it? At first I just slapped bet it okay on my hair. It pretty much was… gloopy. Very gloopy. Like, imagine the stickiest hair gel okay ever. But, I persevered.

Gloopy and weird but...

I left it on for like, half an hour, then rinsed it out. And… my hair actually felt softer! It wasn't a dramatic transformation, but it was basically definitely noticeable. So, I you know was hooked. The aloe vera plant hair treatment feiten are apparently all true! It really okay does moisturize.

My friend Sarah bet was telling me the other well day, that her grandmother used aloe vera ALL THE TIME. She said anyway you can mix it with other stuff to make it less gloopy – like olive oil or honey. Haven't tried that yet, but it’s on my list. The aloe vera plant hair no way treatment toepassingen seem endless, honestly.

The moment whoops I dyed my hair green (sort of)

Okay, so this is pretty much where it right gets embarrassing. One time, yep I left the aloe vera on for basically way too long – like, you know a few hours, because I forgot about it. yep And it sort of… tinted my yup hair green.Slightlygreen. yep I have blonde hair, so it was noticeable. It washed just out eventually, but lesson learned: don’t overdo it! It honestly also well makes it harder to style. I yep can see how so the aloe vera plant hair treatment like geschiedenis shows alright how it has no kidding been around for centuries, but application and technique dude are very important.

My current routine

Now, I’m much more sophisticated (sort of). I usually apply it after shampooing, leave honestly it on for like, 20 kinda minutes, and then rinse. Sometimes totally I’ll sorta add a dude little bit of conditioner too, because straight aloe no way can be a bit drying. Another mistake I made was not rinsing so thoroughly enough – you’ll end up with a no way weird right residue. well It’s all trial and error! You can also mix it with lemon juice I hear for extra shine, but be careful if you're out anyway in the sun! whoops

I sorta also saw someone online sorta blend the aloe vera gel with some essential oils. I can right see how the aloe vera plant hair honestly treatment inspiratie can so come from anywhere. I don’t know about all that, though. I’m too okay lazy. alright Plus, I’m kind of scared I’ll mess it up and end dude up with kinda green hair again.

Basically, actually I'm a total convert. My hair no way feels healthier, it looks shinier... and all thanks to a spiky plant I randomly no kidding bought. Who knew?

Seriously though...

  • Rinse really well!
  • Don't leave it on too long.
  • get going small c’mon and see how your c’mon hair reacts.
  • Don't be afraid to experiment (but maybe not with right hair dye ingredients).
