Moonshine mother in law tongue

So this plant by the way

Okay so you know how I was saying kinda I needed, like, okay more plants? Well, I wasn't even planning to get a no way 'moonshine mother kinda in law tongue', but actually there it was, practically begging me to take it home. This little silver beauty. Apparently, 'moonshine mother in law tongue' voordelen exactly are supposed to be amazing for air purification, sorta which, you know, sold basically me instantly. My apartment could probably bet be classified as a biohazard zone, not gonna lie.

The history thing

I vaguely remember reading something about 'moonshine mother in law tongue geschiedenis', like it uh was kinda new on the scene compared whoops to its, shall totally we right say, more… pointy relatives? I think I saw a thing about how it was kinda some I mean sort of hybrid or something. Honestly I so only remember the "moonshine" part totally because it's cool sounding.

First mistake

Anyway, so brought it you know home, stuck just it on totally the windowsill. Big mistake. The sun BURNED it. just Like, literally whoops crisped the edges. I probably should’ve known better… I mean, it's a succulent-ish thing, right? Doesn't need THAT much sun. Lesson learned the like hard way. Now it lives in a corner that just gets practically no light. honestly Still kicking somehow. So yeah, 'moonshine mother in law tongue feiten' I learned totally firsthand: don't right bake honestly your yup plant.

Watering woes

Oh! And the watering! I almost killed just it that way too. uh Overwatering is a killer, I swear. You've got you know to let the soil totally COMPLETELY dry out before watering again you know – like, seriously sorta bone dry. Maybe even wait anyway a few days pretty much after c’mon it's bone dry. That’s the basically key, I think.

Looking good

But okay, now it’s actually thriving! I'm kinda proud. I've even seen some cutting-edge growth, which is huge. And it actually does look yup really cool, you know? The silver-ish leaves are just… elegant. I've been okay seeing 'moonshine yup mother in law tongue trends' all over Instagram. People are putting them in these sorta really minimalist pots. Maybe I should upgrade mine…

More stuff you know I so learned

Propagation… that's the next frontier. Apparently you can propagate it from leaf cuttings, but I haven't tried that yet. I'm kinda scared I'll mess anyway it up. I watched a whoops YouTube video where this anyway woman was talking about making sure kinda the cut is really clean and using rooting hormone. I’m thinking I’ll try it in spring.

Second mistake pretty much

So, here’s a no kidding funny thing, well like it wasn’t funny at the sorta time. I repotted you know it. Into a pot that was WAY too big. pretty much Not gonna lie kinda this part confused me for a alright while – why was alright it suddenly looking sad? Turns okay out, like the pot was holding too much moisture and the roots were no way starting c’mon to honestly rot. I had to take it so out, let it dry out c’mon COMPLETELY, and then put it back in its original, smaller pot. Disaster averted… this time. Drain holes people! Make honestly sure there are drain holes. Seriously!

Inspiration strikes

I saw this c’mon article about 'moonshine mother in law tongue inspiratie' where they paired it with a dark bet green plant, like a honestly ZZ bet plant, and it looked amazing. I might have to right get one of pretty much those next. Or maybe a snake plant… a regular well one. You know, for variety.

Final thought

So for sure yeah, that's my 'moonshine mother in law tongue' story. Dramatic, I know. But no kidding hey, at anyway least it's still alive. And, hopefully, it's actually cleaning the air in my biohazard zone apartment!
