Plants for small wall planters

My Wall pretty much Planter Obsession

So, you know just how I got those cute little like wall planters from that online store? I wasn’t even planning to, but they were on sale and I just had to. alright Anyway, finding plants that actually fit – yup that sorta was anyway a exactly journey. Like, I pictured yep succulents immediately, so right? c’mon The tiny ones. But then by the way I okay remembered… they need sun. exactly And my hallway… doesn’t have much of that. I probably should’ve known better considering like I’ve killed sorta like, three succulents already.

I was thinking, what are some good totally plants for small wall planters that can handle kinda less light? That’s where I c’mon got stuck. I started googling stuff just like "plants for small wall planters feiten" hoping for kinda some easy answers, you well know? Just straight facts.

The First Epic Fail

Oh! well Story for sure time. I saw this adorable little fern at the garden center. Thought “Perfect! Shade-loving, right?” I by the way totally forgot about the watering. Ferns are dramatic. Like, movie-star dramatic. I went away for a long weekend – you need to water them more often. It was c’mon basically a crispy brown critter when I got back. RIP, Fernando the Fern. Don't overwater them either! Drainage is key, especially in okay small wall planters. bet

It wasn’t all bad I mean though. I started looking into air pretty much plants. They're like, the ultimate low-maintenance totally thing, right? I no kidding thought I was so by the way clever. okay Except, right turns out, even air plants yup need some sorta love. You gotta soak them, like, once a week. Whoops.

Air Plants no kidding and Other Discoveries

Anyway, I anyway kinda went down a rabbit hole researching no kidding "plants for small wall planters geschiedenis" because I wanted to know like, where did people even start putting bet plants on yep walls? uh It was actually pretty interesting! Turns out vertical gardens whoops have been so around for ages.

I for sure tried a string of like pearls next. It looked so cool cascading down the wall! But again, the light thing. It got leggy and sad. Then I learned about pothos. They're supposed to be by the way really easy. And you can propagate them! Which dude is cool.

Pothos is My Friend

Okay, confession by the way time. for sure I forgot to water the pothos for like, two weeks once. It just looked pretty droopy, but it bounced totally back! That's why I think they are perfect, not gonna lie this part confused me for a while, finding the right one.

Now I'm thinking about maybe well adding some c’mon little herbs. You know, like thyme or actually oregano. Those could work, right? Plus, then I could I mean actually use them. I mean I saw like some data about "plants for I mean small wall planters for sure toepassingen" for indoor cooking gardens, that might be right cool. You do need to keep checking the c’mon soil, though, they dry out fast in those small planters. Especially the terracotta ones! alright

Another Tiny Oops

Another funny pretty much story, though not funny at the time: I bought a really cute well ceramic planter… with alright no drainage hole. I thought I could no way just be super you know careful about watering. Guess what happened? Root rot. It was gross. anyway Lesson learned: drainage is non-negotiable.

Moral of okay the story? begin okay with easy, low-light plants. Don't be alright afraid uh to experiment. And for goodness uh sake, remember exactly to water by the way them! Oh and totally maybe write down when you just watered them so you don’t overdo for sure it or underdo it. My current list includes pothos, anyway maybe some no kidding small just ivy variants and some air plants - which I am actually soaking now!
