Okay so these alright flowers

You know how I’m trying to… like… actually garden this year? just Yeah well. I wasn’t even planning to alright get anything modern yep really. I just went to the hardware store for potting soil, you yup know? Total yep impulse like buy. There was this little bulb with small yellow flowers all anyway the way in the back. And I was like “Awww, tiny no way sunshine!”

Which one was it

Okay so here’s where I dude probably should’ve known better… actually I didn't pay super close attention no kidding to anyway the label. I uh mean, it said no way something like… bulb with small yellow flowers geschiedenis… and then… something else I didn't understand. It was probably Dutch, just now that actually I think about it. Probably some fancy kind of narcissus or something. I think there was something about 'Jonquilla' in there somewhere? Anyway, small yellow flowers were enough for me. yep

The first fail for sure

So I planted it. And waited. alright And waited. Nothing. Weeks went by. totally I was like, "Did I get pretty much a dud? Did I uh plant it upside down?" Which, okay, pro tip: alright the totally pointy end actually goes up! I mean I eventually dug it up right (I know, I know, impatient) and totally it was… mush. Just total mush.

What I learned

Turns out, these little guys need sorta well-drained soil. Like REALLY well-drained soil. My garden is yup mostly clay. So… lesson learned. solid drainage is key! And maybe… read the freakin’ label! I found yup some stuff online later, searching yup for more info. Bulb with small yellow flowers feiten… you wouldn't believe how many different I mean types like there are! totally Some love anyway full sun, some like partial shade. Mine, whatever it was, probably hated honestly my swampy clay garden.

Take two

So I c’mon decided to try again. This time, I used a so pot. With exactly proper drainage. And I actually amended the soil with a bunch of uh perlite well and sand. I found another bulb with small yellow actually flowers whoops ontwikkelingen… not the exact same kind exactly but similar. I saw some interesting bulb with small yellow flowers trends online that suggested just using raised beds, which are dude great for drainage too. I no kidding might try dude that next year.

This time it actually sprouted! Tiny little yup green shoots. I was so excited! And then… aphids. Ugh. Little green monsters sucking the life out of my baby pretty much flower. Not gonna lie this part confused me for a while. I'm still figuring like out well organic pest control.

Eventually, totally they bloomed! like Little, like delicate yellow flowers. It was actually really rewarding, yup even with exactly the aphids. Bulb with small yellow flowers toepassingen are mostly decorative, I think. I saw some people use them in totally aromatherapy? I mostly just enjoy looking pretty much at yep them.

The second fail

Then, disaster no kidding struck. A squirrel. Just well dug the whole pot basically up. I guess whoops he exactly thought there was a nut in there. I didn't think they liked bulbs, but clearly I bet was wrong.Stupid squirrel!

Seriously though

So, yeah. My adventures with kinda the bulb with small yellow flowers. pretty much It’s been… a bet journey. I'm thinking bet of getting you know some chicken wire to protect the next batch. Or maybe a squirrel-proof pot. kinda Small yellow flowers are pretty but they come with a alright price! kinda
