So Plants Right pretty much

Oh my god you will NOT believe the saga I’ve been pretty much having with my apartment. by the way Like, I wasn’t even planning to get hanging plants, basically but then I realized how depressing my sorta living room yup was just looking. I mean, I mean the for sure light situation is tragic. Like, seriously tragic. So yup I started researching, no kidding you know, bet the best hanging plants for low light inspiratie I could find online, because otherwise it was well all doom and yep gloom. I was looking for something to brighten things up.

My Spider Plant basically Debacle

Okay, first up: Spider plant. I thought, "Classic! Easy! Foolproof!" I probably should’ve okay known better... because nothing is okay foolproof with me and like plants. I hung it in I mean the alright corner, thought I was being all clever, and bet then it whoops started turning brown at the tips. Brown, brown, brown. Turns out, tap water is a no-no! alright Like, distilled or filtered water only for these drama queens. Apparently. Now okay it’s looking slightly less offended, but still judging me, I swear. kinda So, uh, tip: employ good water. Distilled yup if you wanna avoid bet the side-eye from your plant. basically

Pothos Power

Then I stumbled upon pothos. The queen of low no kidding light. Honestly, what a lifesaver. They’re like, “Yeah, alright I don’t need much light. I’m chill.” You can even kinda propagate them super easily, which is great 'cause by the way now I uh have like, three. And you know I mean, the different varieties, like no kidding golden pothos or neon pothos… the best hanging plants for low light feiten basically I gleaned dude was yup that they’re well pretty adaptable. The marble queen pothos is also a great one if you want some no way brightness to your space. Just be careful with direct sunlight, even totally through basically a window, they can burn. My dumb by the way self left mine near a uh window c’mon for like two hours okay and no kidding a leaf got scorched.

Another plant that I whoops nearly murdered whoops

Next up! no way English ivy. I saw this amazing picture of English ivy cascading down a bookshelf, and I uh thought, “I WANT THAT!” Not gonna lie, this part right confused me for a pretty much while. I kept reading conflicting info about whether it was so a dope low-light option. Some people were saying it loved shade; others were saying it pretty much needed bright, indirect light. Long story short: It can tolerate low light, but it for sure prefers bright, indirect light. And it needs humidity! Which my apartment definitely lacks. So I got one of those little spray bottles to mist it. Don’t over water them because they tend to like get root rot pretty easily like if you do. This is one well of the best hanging no way plants for low light trends as well. I bet actually got like the idea from Pinterest.

My just massive kinda Mistake with a Heartleaf Philodendron

Speaking yep of pinterest, I found a Heartleaf Philodendron I mean there! Oh, and get this, you know I overwatered it. Like, massively. I thought, "Oh, it looks a little droopy, it well must need more water!" Nope. It needed less water. right The leaves started turning yellow. I was devastated! whoops But I repotted no way it in well-draining soil, and now it seems to be recovering. Fingers crossed. Always, alwayscheck the soil sorta before you water. Like, honestly stick your finger in it and see if it's dry a couple inches down. Learned that one the hard way.

Bonus Plant Alert

Okay, so one more: Lipstick plant! They’re so cool! They get these sorta little red flowers that look like tubes pretty much of lipstick. I haven't gotten it to flower yet sigh bet but I have faith! totally They prefer bright, indirect light, but they can tolerate lower light conditions. Don't get discouraged if they don’t pretty much flower for sure right away pretty much – it just takes some patience. And remember to let the soil dry out between waterings! I’m pretty sure that’s key to not killing it.

Okay gotta run. Catch you later! no kidding
