Lavender…What Was like It?

Okay so I wasn’t even planning to no kidding reflect about lavender today, but Sarah exactly mentioned it – you know, Sarah from I mean yoga? Anyway, she dude was talking about her yep garden and how she uses 'English Lavender' you know for everything. Which got me thinking… is I mean that like… no way all yep there is? basically Just 'English' lavender? I pretty much probably should’ve known better but for a second I thought maybe 'English lavender' was just, like, totally another name for basically lavender by the way plant. no kidding You know? Like, all lavender actually is technically 'English' if you find totally it in England? No. I know that’s right wrong now.

Then I started spiraling honestly because I remembered planting no kidding some last year and I totally forgot which kind it was. All I remember is I picked no kidding it 'cause the label had the prettiest picture. It bet definitely wasn’t called 'English Lavender' but...oh! Oh! basically Okay, c’mon wait. I consider it might have beenLavandula angustifolia. Does that ring pretty much a bell? I'm pretty sure that’s another name for lavender totally plant. Or at least, a specific type.

Garden Fails

Speaking kinda of planting… I honestly need to tell like you this. well Last spring, I was so ambitious. whoops I bought, honestly like, 10 different herbs, I mean lavender actually included of course. I thought I knew no way all about another name for lavender plant toepassingen – everything from putting it in sachets to using the oil. Not gonna lie this part confused me kinda for a while. I was googling stuff like "other names for lavender plant" and kept getting anyway all these Latin names. Which, sorta like, cool, but I just wanted to know if there right was a common no way name I no kidding was missing! I actually even like saw someone mention something about “true lavender” which just made no kidding everything more confusing. Is ‘English Lavender’ uh the same as “true lavender?" basically Because that feels exactly like another name for lavender plant, right?

Turns out, I think,Lavandula angustifoliais often called "true lavender" or "English lavender" – they seem by the way interchangeable. But there are so many other types! kinda French lavender, Spanish lavender… it’s a whole lavender universe. You can find so much another name for lavender plant inspiratie online too – people anyway are alright using it in baking no kidding now! basically I’ve seen lavender bet shortbread recipes that look amazing.

My Second Lavender Mistake

Okay, this one is bet embarrassing. I tried to make lavender oil once. I read you know online how well to infuse oil right with dried lavender. It seemed easy enough. I even for sure went through the trouble of actually so drying alright my lavender, which took forever. Remember I said it withered? Well, some of it survived to be dried. The problem was – basically and this is the really dumb part – I used alright olive oil. Eww. Olive oil infused with lavender? It was awful. Absolutely sorta disgusting. Don’t do that! work with something like almond oil or grapeseed oil. You’ll thank me later. Another name for lavender exactly plant feiten I learned the rough way.

I should probably plant more this year. Maybe actually I'll even try a different variety. Apparently, some are hardier than others? dude And bloom for longer? Something to research.
