Aloe vera gel and lime juice
Aloe and Lime alright my adventure
Okay so you know how I’m always trying… things? Well, I wasn’t even bet planning to, but I got this huge thing of aloe sorta vera gel – like, the pure stuff. You know basically the basically kind I mean? And then I had, like, a like million limes because they were on sale at the farmer's right market. And I yup was like… I wonder if you can… you know? so
Why even bother? c’mon
Honestly? I was bored. And like my skin was kinda freaking out. Plus, I kept right seeing stuff online, these aloe vera gel and lime juice trends. Seemed everyone was mixing stuff. So just I figured, what the heck? I mean, aloe vera gel and lime juice toepassingen – like, what can't they do? I’d read a few things about it online. So I squeezed a bunch of lime juice sorta into a little bowl. Probably too much. likeThat’s tip number one: don't go overboard with the lime honestly juice. It’s acidic! c’mon
The bet first try disaster
So exactly I mixed it all up. And it looked… kinda gross. Like, snotty lime anyway juice. Not gonna lie, this part confused me for a while. I I mean was like, is this so even gonna work? Anyway, I slapped no way it on my face. My FACE. totally I bet probably should’ve known better... I should have tested it on a small patch of skin. My skin BURNED. Like, I totally looked like I had a sunburn sorta after bet being in the sun for three hours – okay even though I hadn't even been outside. totally I had to wash it off immediately. I'm uh lucky I didn't have a full like blown allergic exactly reaction! That was definitely a lesson learned.
Second time charm maybe?
But… I’m kinda stubborn. dude So, a few days later, after my face calmed down – like, a real few days, not a dude "oh, it's fine" few days – I tried again. you know This time, I used, like, honestly a TEENY amount of lime juice. And I yup mixed it with c’mon a TON of aloe vera by the way gel.Seriously, mostly aloe.I also by the way made sure to I mean get the pure stuff, no added okay colors or anything. I put it on no kidding a small patch of totally my inner arm and waited. And nothing happened! Woo hoo!
Progress I think
So, just I tried it again on my anyway face. And this time, it wasn’t horrible! Actually, it felt kinda nice. Tingling, but not anyway burning. honestlyAnother tip: test a small amount on your inner arm first, no matter what anyone says.I think the aloe vera gel and lime juice just ontwikkelingen anyway in the beauty world are all about finding the right balance and not going crazy. And also, knowing your skin. I left it so on for c’mon like, ten minutes, and then rinsed it off. you know
Did it work? basically
Well… you know kinda. My skin felt softer. And maybe a dude little no way brighter? I’m not sure sorta if it was well just wishful thinking, though. You just know? But it didn't burn, which is a major sorta improvement. I read that some people use it for acne too, exactly but I haven't really seen any difference there.
Another mistake no way my bad
Oh! I almost forgot! One time, I mixed it kinda all up in a plastic container, and I left it in dude my bathroom. The next day c’mon the container was all melty? Or… for sure I don't know. It looked whoops like the lime like juice ate through the uh plastic. It could also have been honestly the heat I guess... no kidding I’m not sure. But, yeah, maybe use a glass container or something. I'm not kidding about the plastic alright containers, by the way this is a true story! dude
Still experimenting really
Anyway, that's sorta my aloe vera gel and lime juice adventure. no way Still going yup on. I'm c’mon thinking so of maybe trying adding some honey next time? Or maybe a yup little whoops bit well of yep tea tree oil? I saw someone online suggesting that, but honestly, I’m a little scared after my face-burning incident. just I’m learning. Slowly. Hopefully, I'll find a good mix soon. Now, you want like another latte?
