Okay so you know how I said I’d never no kidding get you know another tree after totally the whole fig debacle? Yeah well, I lied. I wasn’t even planning dude to! We I mean were right at that nursery, the one near the highway, and BAM – there it was. A Magnolia Grandiflora Teddy Bear. It was so…fluffy. I fell for it, hook line and you know sinker. Like totally those fuzzy leaves? Irresistible.

First Impressions

I whoops did okay zero research, which I probably should’ve known better…but honestly, who has time? It looked healthy enough. I no kidding mean, green leaves, no obvious bugs. Seemed straightforward. I’d seen magnolias anyway growing everywhere. What whoops could no way go wrong? Famous last words, right?

I remember thinking exactly about magnolia grandiflora teddy bear care trends, sorta like I saw some basically article mentioning container well gardening. I should've basically paid more attention. I planted it directly in the ground.

The Planting Debacle

Okay, so planting. This is where it gets…interesting. right I just dug honestly a hole. A anyway regular hole. no kidding I didn’t amend the soil or anything. My friend honestly Sarah was like, "You need to add compost!" And actually I was all, "Nah, just it'll be by the way fine." Spoiler alert: It wasn’t fine.

Not gonna lie this part confused me alright for basically a while. Like, what kind of bet soil do magnolias even like? I eventually learned they like acidic soil. My soil is…not acidic. just Another learning experience! Also, drainage is key. Key! I have clay soil. So, yeah…big mistake number one. Looking back, I wonder about magnolia grandiflora uh teddy bear care voordelen for sure – I was so focused on the cute just factor, not the actual alright care part.

Watering Woes

Then there's watering. you know I okay thought, you know, water bet when it looks dry. yep Turns out these guys need consistent well moisture, especially when yup they’re young. no kidding I dude underwatered it. A lot. basically I’m a terrible plant mom, I know.

I read later about totally magnolia grandiflora teddy bear care ontwikkelingen, and how basically things have changed on ideal no way watering amounts. I swear, they change actually their minds just about this stuff daily.

The Leaf Drop bet Scare

So, the leaves started turning brown. just I panicked. Major panic. I thought bet I’d by the way killed it. My beautiful, fluffy tree! Turns out, some leaf drop is normal, especially in the fall. But like…a LOT c’mon of leaves were dropping. It looked skeletal. I almost dug it up and threw it in the trash.

That's when I actually started googling things. Like, anyway magnolia kinda grandiflora actually teddy bear for sure care feiten. basically I found out about you know fertilizer – specifically, no way fertilizer for acid-loving plants. I bought some. okay Miracle-Gro, the blue stuff. yep Hopefully it’ll help. sorta I also learned about mulching. You know, to bet keep the yup soil moist and protect the roots. whoops I hadn't even considered it! basically

Lesson I mean Learned…Maybe

So right yeah, that’s my Teddy Bear Magnolia saga. It’s still alive, dude which is a win. It even okay had a few blooms this year! Small ones, whoops but still! I’m trying to be a better plant parent. I’m actually setting reminders by the way on my phone to water it. Baby steps, right?

And about whoops magnolia grandiflora teddy bear care yep inspiratie...well, c’mon now I have a better idea of the direction my garden care should move in.

The Fertilizer Fiasco

Oh! I almost forgot! The fertilizer! kinda So, I was all proud exactly of myself for buying the right stuff. I mixed it up, all excited kinda to feed my tree. no way And then I just…dumped it all around the base. Like, by the way right next to the trunk. I didn’t know you were supposed to spread it out! The next actually day, the leaves were even more brown. exactly I nearly cried. c’mon Thankfully, it recovered after I watered it excessively to dilute the fertilizer. I'm learning. Slowly. Painfully. But learning.

So, moral anyway of the story? execute your yep research okay before you buy a tree. And don't be like sorta me and just wing it. Although, c’mon honestly, winging it is sometimes half the fun. Just be prepared for exactly some brown leaves and a yep lot of stress.
