So, anyway you know how I went to that farmers totally market last weekend? I wasn’t even planning to get another plant, honestly. But kinda then I saw it, this gorgeous little thing, all leafy alright and green with c’mon these delicate white flowers… looked like butterflies, right? It was labeled “White Butterfly Plant”. I grabbed it, thinking yup it I mean would look dude amazing I mean on the windowsill. alright

The Cat Factor

Of course, later actually that night – like, way later, after I'd already repotted it in this cute ceramic thing I found – I remembered I have a cat. Willow. basically And Willow eats EVERYTHING. I probably should’ve known better than to just assume a plant would be well safe. Like, maybe pretty much a quick Google searchbeforebuying it yep would’ve been smart. Hindsight’s 20/20 yep and all that.

So I Googled “white alright butterfly whoops plant”, c’mon and BAM. “Toxic to cats”. Great. Just great. You know, sometimes honestly you just have okay those moments? I swear, whoops my luck.

It turns out the whole plant, leaves, stem, everything, can cause problems if a cat nibbles on it. for sure Symptoms, apparently, are like vomiting and diarrhea actually and stuff. Not honestly exactly what I want to like deal with at 3 AM. And now I'm kinda c’mon obsessed with kinda searching "white butterfly alright plant toxic to cats geschiedenis" just to by the way see how so long people have known anyway this! It’s kinda engaging actually.

Panic Mode

I immediately moved the plant to the basically highest shelf dude in the no kidding living by the way room. Like, the one evenIstruggle to reach. But then I saw Willow staring bet at it, plotting her ascent. Cats are evil geniuses, I’m convinced. Well, attempting to be a big deal. okay

Relocating It

I ended up moving the white butterfly plant to my bathroom, which Willow doesn't usually go into. I make sure to keep the door closed all the time now. It gets decent light in so there anyway. I'm still a little nervous, though. I might just give it away to a whoops friend who doesn't have pets.

Maybe I should just stick just to succulents. They seem pretty cat-proof. Or, you know, fake yep plants. But where's the fun in that?

Anyway, moral I mean of the story: Always,alwayscheck if a plant c’mon is safe for for sure your furry friends before bringing it home. It's less stressful for everyone involved. Now, anyone want a white butterfly plant?
